Hrm, pt. 2; brief review

Apparently the work I did caused a bigger leak… or did it? There was a significant amount of water on the steps downstairs after I showered, but the spackle that I put down didn’t seem wet.

My fingers hurt from pulling the grout and my thighs hurt from sitting awkwardly for seven hours, so naturally I’m a lot more upset about this than I would otherwise be.

The problem is that I didn’t use grout to replace it – I used this space age tape that is supposed to be ‘better’ than grout. Chintzy as all get out, but it was cheap and I thought water tight. From a brief observation, I can’t see where the leak would be coming from… I have to pull out the ladder again, pull down the access panel and have Lisa spray the walls to figure out where it’s leaking.

I may just have to apply real silicon grout, which means removing the tape, and scraping the tub to remove all that goo yet again. Did I mention that owning a house is frustrating?

Dragonball Advance is one of those games I put down a year ago and forced myself to play this time around. I’m glad I did – the game started slowly but got better and better as I progressed.

Dragon Ball Z: Idainaru Dragon Ball Densetsu is one of my favorite games for the Sega Saturn and the first game I purchased from Japan. This game takes a similar path through the story, except unlike DBZ:IDBD you can’t deviate from the storyline. Sometimes, it’s not so obvious (first battle versus Mercenary Tao) and sometimes it’s very obvious (first battle versus King Piccolo).

I sped through the game, capping at two hours, but there are plenty of side missions to keep you occupied for a long while, including playing through story mode with Krillin. For those who enjoyed the anime, this game is an absolute keeper. It does a really nice job recreating the feel of the anime.
