Observed

Even when sitting in front of two PCs, if I have to take down a note, I always opt for a pen and paper. Upon further reflection, all the high tech doodads I’ve purchased to keep my life in check seem to fail because I keep relying on (terribly organized) notes.

Anyone else have this problem? Leave thoughts in the comments.

  1. Yes. This is why I can’t let go of the paper planner. It has a notes section for each day and each week. Things that require immediate attention go on a specific day. Things that don’t go in the weekly section. Anything that doesn’t get done by the end of the week gets copied to the next week so that I don’t forget about it. Calendars and task lists on the computer have never been able to replicate this functionality for me.

I agree 100% with Lisa – I never understood the palm pilot thing and still use a paper planner. Sometimes we don’t need to reinvent things that work so well in the first place!

I looked into buying a paper planner today… nothing stood out. Blah.
