I’ve been playing this day over and over in my head for a week now. If nothing comes of today, it’ll be a deep hole that I’ll have to dig myself out of. I’m not an optimist by nature, but I’ve been optimistic about today.
Lisa would say that it’s misplaced optimism, and she’d probably be right. I’m hoping she’s wrong, though.
