Calm down on the vitriol

I got tagged by Blinq, a Philadelphia Inquirer blog. I noticed it just now – and I was quoted! Check it out here.

I wish I noticed it before, I’m like an excited school girl. And also humbled, since this weblog is apparently searchable by technorati. So um, I should stop mentioning how much I hate the Phillies, huh! :-)

I noticed that a majority of our patients are smokers, but also a sizable portion live near refineries, or even work for them.

I knew that the kind of toxins they put into the air have contributed to the huge upswing of respiratory related issues our patrons (and people as a whole) have faced – but it’s something quite else to 1) do a delivery whose house is directly across the street from a refinery and 2) read a report on insurance claims, and to see how many patients belong to insurance groups provided by said refineries.
