It’s unusually extremely busy, so I’ll keep this relatively short.

Our baby’s shower was just this last weekend, and it say it was an amazing success would be simply an understatement. Firstly, thanks to Mare, Michael and Lisa’s mom for making such an event. Clearly there was a lot of hard work and effort involved – Lisa and I were left in the dark for the vast majority of it, making it all the more exciting.
Even more suprising was how many people showed up, and from the far reaches of D.C. came Julie, and from Brooklyn, Bonnie, James Lauren. Lisa’s aunts came with Lisa’s mom from upstate new york, with their fantastic food no less – I can’t explain how wonderful everything turned out.
The baby was indeed showered. It was cute, all the oohing and awwing over the tiny sized clothing picked for our little girl – and the books! An absolutely brilliant idea! Everyone picked their favorite children’s books – this was easily the nicest surprise.
Afterwards, we headed to our new house, and gave a tour. That being said, almost everyone who wanted to see pictures saw the actual thing, so I don’t think there’s any rush to upload pictures of the house now.
