Weekend in Manhattan, Part 2

We were on the 38th floor of the first tower. As mentioned before, we were able to open the windows in each room. This is the view from Mare and Michael’s room – it truly gives you a sense of height (half way down our side the tower was extended outward).

The obvious problem with this layout is that we can peer into other people’s rooms – sometimes they’re engaged in acts that really, truly require some sort of privacy barrier… perhaps a curtain?

This was our room at night. I think at this point it’s understood that this room alone could’ve been a bedroom.

So you saw the view from one side of the room – this is the other side.

Now I know that last year I posted the same exact picture (almost). The difference is that this picture is taken at the highest quality setting on my camera, so details are a little bit finer. Also, traffic was a bit heavier on FDR Drive, so the trailing car lights are an interesting detail.

Lisa and I dancing the night away. This time there’s no one watching so we’re not nervous, and this time if Lisa runs away (I’m pretty sure) I won’t be mauled/attacked/robbed.

:-)

    Ahem.

If I tell you to RUN, and I start to RUN, perhaps you shouldn’t stand there and stare at me dumbfounded. :-P

    Gawd. :-D

    I don’t understand… why all the running?

Also, I want hotel recommendations! You guys are always come here and always stay in hotels, so you must have some good opinions for quality/price… I must prepare for hotel blocking!
