This serves as an apology before I embark on a ‘not paying attention to the internet especially my weblog’ journey in which I intend to read several (dozen?) books and work furiously while at work. As mentioned before, Lisa gifted me the Hitchhiker’s Guide collection, which is roughly seven books. I’ve completed four so far, and I’m working on the last three with every waking free moment.
With all the videogames and other blinking lights I’ve neglected my best friends that aren’t Lisa. By my bedside is Misconceptions, which I was halfway through, War of the Worlds, 1984 and Who’s Afraid of a Large Black Man?
I’d like to get through all of those before committing myself to anything else that takes up free time. As Lisa will attest, I haven’t touched the Wii since the weekend, when M&M, Lisa and I tried beating SMB 2 (J) yet again (the wii lost our save state, so we decided to go through from 1-1 onwards. We’ve gotten to world 6, and this time it only took slightly under 4 hours).
Before anyone starts worrying about save states on their VC games, I suspect, upon reflection, that I may have shut off the wii prematurely as I rushed to tend to a wakeful and sobbing Nora (sometimes our idiot neighbors will do yardwork noisily).
So – my apologies in advance.
In the meantime, make sure to visit the baby blog, as that will be updated regularly. Also, make sure to badger Lisa if she falls off track of her goals for writing.

This set of links should last you quite a while, hopefully.
In the end, what will probably happen is a observation or two every couple days (or hours?) as uncommentable aside-category entries. Fun.

I haven’t had time to look at the links yet, but I will say that I’ve missed chatting with you about books and I’m looking forward to doing more of it. I finished Colbert this morning, so you have to add that to your list!
