I’m not very good at video games. I enjoy them immensely, but I take a very long time to master and complete them (with rare exceptions). I own a lot of them, but that only started recently (re: had my own place and my own money – my parents weren’t big on funding ‘fun’ and ‘pastimes’).
This page will probably never be ‘finished’, as gaming is a likely lifelong hobby. Obviously, they aren’t the center of my life as they were fifteen years ago, but they’re certainly a great pastime.
My libraries are almost entirely previously owned games. For me, it’s easier to justify purchases of a huge lot of games that will take years to play if it only costs $20-$25 at a time. That being said, the list of games that I haven’t played has gotten embarrassingly long. To that end, I’m slowing (and in some cases, completely stopping) the purchases of video games for systems. My collection is in a constant state of flux, as I now trade games on goozex.
On copied games: I own copied games for systems, this much is true. However, this only holds true for systems for which games cannot be acquired at a brick and mortar store (new or used). Usually when it reaches that point, the console is considered dead. Copied games are not considered part of the library, and beating copied games do not factor into the completion percentage.

*No intention means I don’t intend to play them through. This includes mini/party games, and sports games where completion means a full sports season. There’s almost never any value in doing so.
