The number of PC games I own, downloaded or played likely eclipses 1,000. Owning consoles outside of sega is a relatively new concept for me (less than five years). After the genesis, Sega had a terrible run with their brand which meant a distinct lack of quality gaming until their demise.
The PC has always been my gaming ‘rock’, whether it be the Rampage on the Apple IIe or Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
This particular section will be dedicated to just PC games – games that I’m playing, or recommend, or to simply wax nostalgic. It’ll also feature the rigs I’ve setup to play these games.
My current rig for ‘modern gaming’:

This motherboard is the only nForce2 board ECS has ever made. The Sempron processor is based on the Barton core and for all intents and purposes is an Athlon as it’s not downgraded in anyway shape or form, yet costs almost 60% less. It was a collaborative effort to build, too: I picked the processor and RAM, Nora picked the PC case, Lisa picked the motherboard and graphics card. It’s not a powerhouse by any means, but it’s rock solid stable and an absolute joy to use. I have no plans to upgrade it and quite frankly, the games that I’m looking to play are generally older .
